I really believe that where Compassion excels is in encouraging relationships between children and their sponsors -- regular letters, emails and small gifts can bring a child so much joy. And if you travel, consider sponsoring a child in a country where you may visit as Compassion is eager to help connect sponsors with their children arranging home visits, project visits and advice.
